Ke$ha, Dada Life, Dillon Francis - Died Young, Died High (Madera TrapMash)

Three very different artists, blended together oh so well by New York's Josh Raymond Johnson, aka, Madera.

He kicks off the mix with Dada Life and Dillon Francis leading the song musically, while Ke$ha runs the vocals for this trap mash-up. The trap mixing leaves us with a very uplifting, feel good sound that, in my opinion,  produces a better track than each of the individual songs used.

Great stuff by this upcoming producer. He mostly has remixes online, but has an original mix too, so make sure to check out his other stuff. I'm sure we'll be hearing more from him in the near future.

Underworld - Rez (Bassnectar Remix)

Bassnectar, aka Lorin, the lord of bass himself, is blasting us away with yet another epic track. He took an already amazing song, and pumped it with enormous bass power that is sure to blow every crowd away at his shows.

I have a friend who was lucky enough to attend his Bassnectar 360 2013 NYE show, and I heard he dropped this track at midnight. So I found a video that gives an amazing view of this unparalleled moment using a GoPro camera atop a 12' pole. I do warn you...you will only regret you didn't go to Nashville for NYE.

Though the remix is streaming to the public, it will not release on iTunes until Feb. 12, but they are taking pre-orders.
In the meantime, stream away.

Savoy - Personal Legend EP

Savoy just released their latest EP. "Personal Legend" is a collection of 4 hard-hitting tracks, one of them featuring the always amazing Big Gigantic.

Though "Aftershock feat. Big Gigantic" is my favorite, the other songs are huge just the same. Just in time for the Savoy Live With Lasers tour kicking off tonight in D.C.

Definitely give all 4 tracks a listen, and get the free download HERE.

If you aren't familiar with Savoy, check out my other post about them HERE.

Electric Forrest 2013 Announces Dates

JUNE 27-30, 2013

Well, I've never been to Electric Forest Festival, but this video sure does make it look like a grand ole time.
We'll see how the line-up is whenever that gets released. Then we'll start making some decisions.

Yea, it's not free music, but damn it's a good song. The track is "Empathy" by Bassnectar.

Featured Artist: Vicetone

Stumbled upon Vicetone's remix of Zedd's smash hit "Clarity feat. Foxes" and from there I discovered their slew of other banging remixes, with a few massive originals thrown into the mix.

Vicetone consists of two 20-year-olds from the Netherlands. Only breaking out on the scene less than a year ago, they are blowing up, quickly amassing over 50,000 Facebook fans and almost 600,000 views on Youtube.

Influenced by Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto and Eric Prydz, these two gents have an amazing grasp on the Progressive/House genre. Unfortunately we can all only imagine how colossal their live shows may be, as they have yet to go on tour. On the up side, they plan on playing shows soon. Let's just hope they make their way over to the States.

I've posted a couple of my favorites, but it was very hard to choose from their amazing tracks. Make sure to check out all of their music on SoundCloud and Facebook.

Featured Artist: Sound Remedy

Yes, I have posted about Sound Remedy in the past with his trap remix to Crystal Castles' "Baptism" but I kept listening to SR and realized how great all of his remixes really are.

And since he's a very giving person and offers up his music for free, well, that means I just had to share it with all of you (hi) good people. Honestly he's got so many great tracks, it would be ridiculous if I posted them all. So here's the links to his SoundCloud & Facebook pages:
