So I love "The Funeral" by Band of Horses, and therefore a hiphop remix better be damn good for me to ever want to share it with others. Of course Kid Cudi did his rendition with the track "The Prayer" a couple years ago, and while Cudi's version is slow and emotional, in this new remix Jacob Es worked with DJ Whole-Z to create a more upbeat tempo to give the track a playful pathos to it.
Overall, this track still carries originality with it and satisfies my great expectations for the underlying sample.
